About Us

Hi my name is Ivonne Cecilia Lanatta, aka "Ceci" 

I am very excited to share my resume with you, not only because I need you to know what I have done in the past and how I had accomplished to learn so many things about the revenue cycle.  I also want to assure you that with that experience I can bring to your practice new ideas and strategies. One of my goals  is expedite the way you get paid. And not only get paid, but how your processes are handled. The way you manage your office is the way how you're going to get paid. If your office is not managed well, your revenues are going to be halt. I am here to help you and I want to be able to share with you all that I have learned throughout 40 + years of experience in the healthcare industry. Director of Revenue Cycle, Gwinnett Medical Center-Atlanta, Ga
February 2012 - July 2018

  • Responsible for the Revenue cycle activities of multi-specialty practices.

  • Created a new Credentialing team to comply with governmental institutions and provider’s relations with commercial insurances

  • Created initiatives to establish a new Clearinghouse and its functionality. Implemented new internal processes to increase our cash flow.

  • Spearheaded the conversion of ICD10 to our multiple specialties by customizing each practice according to their needs. Proper training and IT adjustments to confirm proper coding and outsourcing of claims in a timely manner.

  • Implemented an Online patient portal to assist patients in the payment process, resulting in increased revenues.. 

  • Updated and upgraded our Master Charge on our Fee Schedule, Insurance Module and other IT initiatives to improve our functionality as Revenue Cycle Center.

  • Established a new internal streamline payment posting process and collection steps.

  • Established a Training Center to prepare and educate our teams of collectors, customers services, coders and others as needed.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring financial policies/procedures across RCM and designing KPI to create monthly goals.


 

Director Of Finance/Chief Financial Officer, Jackson Outpatient Facilities

October 2008 - March 2010

● Managed a $100 million budget and 791 employees Executive Director, Patient Access & Finance.

● Developed and implemented a strategy to collect $2.3 million from unfunded patients.

● Provided a vision and leadership to all financial services of the Hospital Outpatient sub-division.

● Directed a marketing campaign to promote the clinics and the grant-supported HIV prevention programs.

● Created an enterprise-wide new financial reporting system and productivity standards.

 

Director of Patient Admissions & Finance, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute August 2000 - September 2008 

● In charge of over $100 million in Accounts Receivable for 85 ophthalmologists.

● Increased revenue collection from $12 million in fiscal year 2002 to $36 million in 2007.

● Re-engineered Billing operations at Bascom Palmer and its satellites in Naples, Plantation and the newly created Palm Beach Ambulatory Center including:

  • Policies & Procedures 

  • Physician Credentialing Process 

  • Prices, Billing Codes 

  • Productivity Standard

  • Quality Assurance Guidelines 

  • Patient Flows

● Compliance Officer - Responsible for auditing appropriate documentation on medical records making sure that they met government regulations. Additionally, responsible for instructing physicians in documentation methods for EM codes and surgical procedures.
